Start with the counter run, not the litres

A cake display sits in the one place you cannot move — the front counter — so width decides the shortlist before capacity does. This range runs 600 mm to 2,400 mm wide and 110 L to 950 L, with the middle of it a 395 L cabinet at 1,200 mm. Measure the run, then the door swing behind it, then look at litres.

Curved glass or square glass

Curved front glass gives the product a showroom look and is what most patisseries choose; square glass fits flush into a counter run and is easier to clean around. Both hold the same band — 2 °C to 8 °C across 87 of the models here — so this is a presentation decision, not a performance one.

Floor-standing or countertop

Refrigerated or ambient

Cakes with cream, custard or fresh fruit need refrigeration and belong here. Bread, croissants, muffins and slices sold on the day do not — for those a heated-free, unrefrigerated cabinet looks better and costs nothing to run, and you want our ambient food displays instead.
