Why solid door for storage

A solid door has no glazing to lose heat through and no interior lighting adding load, so it holds temperature better each time it is opened and costs less per litre to run. On a freezer that gap is wider than on a fridge: you are fighting a 40-degree difference to the kitchen, not 20. Nobody is browsing a back-of-house cabinet, so the glass buys you nothing here.

Sizing

Door count is how most buyers narrow it down — one door for a single bay or a tight corner, two or three for volume kitchens and supermarket back rooms. Measure the run and the door swing before you shortlist on litres. Filter by doors, width or capacity on this page.
