Choosing an under bench fridge

Measure the gap, not the litres. This is the one category where the cabinet has to fit a hole that already exists. Our range spans 435 mm to 2,400 mm wide, and door count follows width: 1-door units suit a single bay next to the pass, 2-door is the workhorse for most cafés, and 3- to 6-door runs a full prep line. Check your bench height and whether you need castors or legs before you compare anything else.

Solid door or glass. Most commercial under bench fridges are solid door — better insulated, cheaper to run, and the contents are not on show anyway. Glass doors make sense front-of-house, at a bar, or anywhere staff need to find a bottle without opening every door. We stock both: 98 solid and 31 glass.

Temperature. These run in the normal chilled band — roughly 0 °C to 8 °C — which covers general food storage and drinks service.
