Why solid door for storage

A solid door has no glazing to lose heat through and no interior lighting adding load, so it holds temperature better each time it is opened and costs less per litre to run. Nobody is browsing a back-of-house cabinet, so the glass buys you nothing here — what it costs you is stability on a hot day and a higher power bill every day.
