Serve-over, not self-serve

A deli display fridge is a serve-over counter: the glass faces the customer, staff work from the rear, and the product sits on a deck at eye level rather than on shelves. That layout is what butchers, delis and cheese counters need, and it is why these cabinets are deeper and heavier than an open merchandiser of the same width.

Temperature is the part that matters

Across the range the rated bands run from −2 °C to +10 °C depending on model, and the setting is not one-size-fits-all: raw meat wants the bottom of that band, cheese and cured smallgoods sit happier a few degrees warmer, and a cabinet run too cold will sweat cheese and dull a meat display. Check the rated band against what you actually sell before you shortlist on looks.

Sizing

The range runs 1,022 mm to 2,590 mm wide and 207 L to 885 L, with the middle of it a 443 L counter at 1.82 m. These are joinery-scale purchases — measure the run, the rear working aisle and the door the cabinet has to come through.

If the customer reaches in instead

Pre-packed smallgoods on a self-serve run belong in an open display fridge, not a serve-over counter.
