The Atosa WDG096FY is a 900 mm open-front cake showcase. There is no glazed door between the customer and the product, which makes it a self-serve cabinet: people take what they want without anyone opening anything, and impulse buying goes up accordingly.

Key features

• An open front with no doors, so the cabinet is served from the customer side without a handle in the way.
• The honest trade is holding: an open front is exposed to the room every minute the shop is open, so it works hard.
• 231 L on the shallow 660 mm body, more display than the curved cabinet of the same width because nothing is glazed.
• Holds between 2 °C and 8 °C, which on an open cabinet depends much more on where it is placed.
• Charged with R290, a low-GWP hydrocarbon refrigerant, and rated for a 43 °C ambient.

Fit notes

Allow 900 mm of width and 660 mm of depth, standing 1200 mm high. Placement matters more for this model than for any glazed cabinet: keep it well away from doorways, air conditioning outlets and direct sun, all of which will pull the open front off temperature. Leave the back clear for the condenser.
