Start with where the fridge goes

The ranges here divide by position in the kitchen or shop, because that is what fixes your choice long before capacity does. Upright cabinets hold the most per square metre of floor and are the default for bulk storage. Under bench units slide into a 900 mm run and give you chilled storage at the point of work. Bar fridges and bottle coolers face the customer. Chef bases put refrigeration under the cooking line. Widths across the whole range run 390 mm to 2,584 mm, so measure the gap before shortlisting on litres.

Glass door or solid door

Roughly half this range is each: 159 glass-door models against 179 solid-door. Glass sells — customers see the product and open the door less often, which is what you want anywhere the fridge is part of the display. Solid doors hold temperature better under heavy service and cost less per litre, which is what you want back of house. Both are filterable on every range page.

Uprights are where that choice matters most, and where most of the range sits: commercial upright fridges lists all 130 of them side by side so you can compare both door types before narrowing down.

Door count is how most buyers size a fridge

One door (91 models) suits a single bay or a tight prep area; two doors (126) is the most common commercial size; three (70) and four (33) are for volume kitchens and supermarket runs. We also hold six-door cabinets. Filter by door count on any range page rather than working from litres alone.
