The Jasper JA-3DB-N is a triple waterless wok range rated at 300 MJ/h on natural gas — the same three-well duckbill machine on a reticulated supply. Duckbill burners under each well push a wide, shaped flame up the wall of the wok, which is where wok hei comes from rather than from the base alone. Three wells is a production wok line: two cooks working and a third well free for a holding pot.
Key features
- Three wells in one frame, so a section can run dish after dish without waiting for a wok to come free.
- Duckbill burners, shaping the flame up the side of each wok where the food is actually thrown.
- Waterless deck: no water tray to top up or drain, so the deck stays dry and close-down is a wipe.
- 1800 mm of front — a proper wok line rather than a station squeezed into the end of a run.
- 180 kg of frame, heavy enough to take three cooks working it hard without moving.
Fit notes
Allow 1800 mm of width and 900 mm of depth, with the deck at 1180 mm. Have the natural gas supply checked for 300 MJ/h at the outlet before install — that is more than most single lines were run for, and it is the one thing that will hold up the job. The canopy must cover the full 1800 mm.
Warranty
2 Years Parts & Labour, plus a further 2 Years Parts when the unit is registered.
