The Jasper JA-SPB-L is a gas stockpot boiler rated at 80 MJ/h on LPG — the same duckbill burner as its natural gas sibling, set up for bottled supply. It is what a kitchen puts a full stockpot on when the range top cannot give up a ring for a whole shift, and that wide flame pattern is what keeps a long stock or a congee from catching on the base.
Key features
- A duckbill burner running 18 jets, spreading heat across the base of a large pot rather than one hot spot.
- 80 MJ/h on LPG, enough to bring a full pot up and then hold it at a steady simmer through a shift.
- Built to take the weight and height of a stockpot, so the pot is loaded at the burner rather than on a range.
- 600 mm of front, narrow enough to live in a corner of the kitchen out of the service line.
- 70 kg, so it stays where it is put once a full pot is sitting on it.
Fit notes
Allow 600 mm of width and 900 mm of depth, with the burner deck at 1180 mm. On LPG it needs a bottle supply and a correctly sized regulator, and it should sit under extraction — a pot at a rolling simmer puts a lot of steam into the room.
Warranty
2 Years Parts & Labour, plus a further 2 Years Parts when the unit is registered.
