The Jasper JA-1DB-N is a single waterless wok range rated at 100 MJ/h on natural gas — one proper wok station for a kitchen that needs one rather than a bank. A duckbill burner sits under the well and pushes a broad, shaped flame up the wall of the wok, which is where wok hei comes from, not the base alone. It suits a restaurant or cafe adding a wok section to an existing suite.
Key features
- One well with the whole burner to itself, so the wok gets full flame instead of sharing a manifold.
- A duckbill burner rather than a plain ring, shaping heat up the side of the wok where food is thrown.
- Waterless deck: no water tray to fill or drain, so closing down is a wipe rather than a nightly refill.
- 600 mm of front, narrow enough to drop into a gap in an existing run instead of its own bay.
- 74 kg, light enough for two people to walk it into a tight kitchen without lifting gear.
Fit notes
Allow 600 mm of width and 900 mm of depth, with the deck at 1180 mm. It runs on reticulated natural gas, so the line has to carry 100 MJ/h at the outlet, and the canopy should cover the full depth — a wok throws far more heat at the hood than a flat top does.
