Cookrite 1220mm Radiant Broiler — Natural Gas

The Cookrite ATRC-48-NG is a 1220 mm benchtop gas radiant broiler — the longest radiant grill in the range, for a kitchen grilling all night and unwilling to give the canopy the smoke a rock bed makes. Radiants heat the bars from below, so the marks come from the grate rather than from flame on the food.

• Rated at 33 MJ/h on natural gas — that is the figure on the supplier sheet we hold, so have us confirm it before the gas supply is sized.
• 1220 mm of grilling width, which is two cooks on their own halves rather than one grill being shared.
• Radiants rather than rock, which keeps flare-ups down and takes a job off the close-down list.
• Set up for natural gas, so it connects to the mains with no cylinders to watch.
• 95 kg on the bench, so the counter carrying it has to be built for the load.

Fit notes

Allow 1220 mm of bench width and 700 mm of depth, with 385 mm of body height above the counter and a canopy that covers the whole length rather than most of it. Being a natural gas unit it needs a fixed connection, with the branch sized to carry 33 MJ/h.
