Cookrite 610mm Radiant Broiler — Natural Gas

The Cookrite ATRC-24-NG is a 610 mm benchtop gas radiant broiler — the grill for a kitchen that wants bar marks without the smoke and maintenance of a rock bed. Radiants under the grate carry heat up through the bars, so the flame never touches the food and fat has nothing to flare on.

• Rated at 33 MJ/h on natural gas, enough to bring the bars back between orders rather than after them.
• 610 mm of grilling width — a working grill for a cafe or bistro with a handful of grilled items on the menu.
• Radiants instead of a rock bed, which means less smoke into the canopy and nothing to rake out at close.
• Set up for natural gas, so it connects to the mains with no cylinders to watch.
• 53 kg, the lightest broiler in this range and a straightforward two-person lift onto a counter.

Fit notes

Allow 610 mm of bench width and 700 mm of depth, with the body standing 385 mm above the counter, clearance behind for the gas connection and room above for the heat coming off the grate. Being a natural gas unit it needs a fixed connection, with the branch sized to carry 33 MJ/h.
