The Cookrite ATCB-36-LPG is a 910 mm benchtop char rock broiler — the grill a steak-led pub or club kitchen puts on the line when the smoke is part of the product. Rock under the grate catches the fat, flares it, and pushes that back through whatever is cooking above it.
Key features
- A full bed of rock beneath the bars, which is what separates a rock broiler from a plain gas grill.
- Rated at 33 MJ/h on LPG, so the bars keep marking properly rather than fading as the grate fills.
- 910 mm of grilling width — a real service section, enough that steaks and vegetables are not competing for the same bars.
- Benchtop at 385 mm high, so it uses counter space rather than a slot in the floor-standing run.
- 87 kg on the bench: the counter carrying it has to be built for that plus a loaded grate.
Fit notes
Allow 910 mm of bench width and 700 mm of depth, with 385 mm of body height above the counter and room behind for the gas connection. Be honest about the extraction — a rock broiler this wide makes real smoke, and the rock itself needs raking out and replacing on a schedule. It is set up for LPG, so it runs off bottled gas on a site with no reticulated supply; size the cylinders and regulator for 33 MJ/h.
Warranty
