Atosa 10 Grid Undercounter Blast Chiller/Freezer

The Atosa EBF-10 is a ten-grid blast chiller and shock freezer holding 178 L — the production cabinet in this range, for a kitchen that batch cooks and stores rather than cooking to order. It takes roughly double the load of the five-grid unit on the same floor footprint.

• Ten grids, which is a genuine cook-ahead operation: function catering, a production kitchen, a central kitchen.
• Chiller and freezer in the one cabinet, so a batch can be pulled down and then taken straight to frozen.
• 1435 mm tall, so despite the undercounter name this model carries, it is a standing cabinet needing its own bay.
• The same 750 mm width as the smaller cabinet, so the extra grids go upwards rather than sideways.
• No chill load or cycle time is published for this model, and at this size that is the figure worth pinning down — ask us before you size the operation around it.

Fit notes

Allow 750 mm of width and 830 mm of depth, standing 1435 mm high, and check that the top loading height suits the staff using it. It is rated for a 43 °C ambient, but 140 kg of cabinet rejecting heat into a boxed-in corner will still run hard.
